Golden Oldies on show
A photographic exhibition of old Narooma, featuring rare gems from Narooma Historical Society's archives, opens in the SoART Gallery on Thursday from 10am to 4pm each day.
The exhibition is the society's major project for the year.
"We anticipate this exhibition will create a great deal of interest particularly among older locals," Narooma Historical Society president Laurelle Pacey said.
"We recently received photographs from descendants of old Narooma sawmiller George Fuller which includes quite a number of photos our members had not seen before. The exhibition ends Thursday, November 21 at 4pm.
Vinnies gears up for Christmas
When you come along to the Vinnies Centre in Narooma, you will definitely see the spirit of Christmas in the store. The window display is sparkling as are the items available for sale.
There are lots of cards, festive bags and wrapping as well as clothing Christmas decorations and gift ideas. What about a watch?
Vinnies Narooma is fortunate to be the recipient of many really good donated watches and they are available at a fraction of the price they would normally cost.
As the Vinnies Centre always says - it's worth a visit.
Narooma View Club
The Narooma View Club's next meeting is on Friday, November 22. This is the last meeting for the year, so is an early Christmas for all members and guests.
